Agricola’s 4-8-4 is not a high-production item; it is a boutique Artisan product made by hand in small 200 lb batches. Each of the 19 ingredients is individually measured and weighed for each batch in our workshop, evenly spread in a “mineral sandwich” and then slow-mixed in a horizontal tumbler. After mixing, Agricola’s 4-8-4 is hand-scooped from the tumbler and carefully weighed into individual bags. We have spared no expense in formulating Agricola’s 4-8-4. Cost of ingredients was not considered, we only wanted the very best. Making a fertilizer this powerful, safe, and well-balanced has been a dream for years. It took until 2011 to find the right people to work with and the perfect ingredients to make it possible. With our new facilities in Southwest Louisiana, along with some new sources of soil amendments, we finally were able to put together this “dream fertilizer”. The results have been all we could have hoped for. The challenge was to combine exceptional levels of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium, all from natural sources, with a full range of all the other major, minor, and trace nutrients and to do that using only USDA Organic approved ingredients. You can grow any plant or crop with confidence using Agricola’s 4-8-4 as your primary fertilizer. Since 2010 our only goal has been to make the very best fertilizer possible. 4-8-4 contains all essential macro and micro minerals (including rare earth minerals) and essential amino acids, a wide range of beneficial fungi, as well as natural growth-stimulating factors from ocean kelp, humate ore, and paramagnetic basalt.
