Takes only a few weeks to grow mushrooms, but because they are so sensitive to their diet, only the finest available ingredients are used in the mushroom growing mix. This media contained wheat straw, fibrous peat, gypsum, dolomite, crushed feathers, cottonseed meal, peanut meal and more. After the short growing cycle of the mushrooms is complete the growing trays are emptied, the mix is sterilized and the composting begins. After several months of aerobic composting, the product is ready for use.
