Application Guidelines: General Use—Till or work into the soil at a rate of 1 cup/100 sq. feet. Flowers & Vegetables— Apply Kelp Meal at 1-2 pounds per 100 square foot and mix into the top 3” of soil. For large shrubs use 1 lb per shrub worked into soil. Transplants- Add 1 teaspoon per hole and mix with soil and water in. Large Trees— Use at a rate of ½ lb/1 inch diameter (4 inch trunk = 2 lbs) broadcast in drip line. Fruit trees—Peach, Pear, Apple: 2-4 lb/tree under drip line in early spring or late fall. Feed Guidelines–If not already in your feed, add 2% Kelp Meal to grain (i.e. 40 lb to a ton of grain). Either pre-mix or place on grain by hand. If a mineral or vitamin deficiency is known, feed up to 5%. Start young animals at 1%. Beef Cattle- Feed 2 lbs of seaweed meal mixed with 100 lbs of regular feed ration; or 40 lbs of seaweed mixed with 1 ton of feed; or free choice, 2 lbs seaweed meal mixed with 1 lb salt. *Proud Maxicrop Distributor
